you have a heart shaped face like me [normal forhead and cheeks, but slim chin] and the first hairstyle will make your face look too round because of the volume from the layers [which will make your face look fat]. the second one has graduated layers rather than didsinct ones, which will look more symmetrical with your face and will help to slim your cheeks too [jennifer aniston has a heart shape face too, which is why the cut looks great on her!].

In Nyc I have seen a lot of "American girls" who have jewish apperiance with fake blond hair. Many actors look really latinos just with English last names. Is America becoming like any other southamerican country?

If you talk to a "beauty" expert they will tell you that after about 25 very very few people have natural blond hair.

I don't know what the thing is with ethnic groups and trying to imitate the White girl/ White boy look, especially when they are always bashing Whitey. The black woman with long straight hair, especially if it is dyed blond (or red) is thumbing her nose up at her own ethnic group. Same with the Mexican with the bright blond hair, it looks ridiculous and they to are showing that they do not have "Latino Pride" by copying Europeans or maybe the Bask.

Use your natural look, no matter who you are and you will be beautiful.

American women dye their hair any color they want because they can. They aren't held as property here and have the right to be who they want to be or look as they wish or work as they wish. They have the right to drive, to own property, to be equal human beings. I wonder what possesses a man to want a woman that must obey. What a bore! I love to look at what women men choose as partners-to see how secure the man is by his choice.

America has long been a mixture of different cultures, and I beleive Irish and Native Americans also have dark hair, so it's not just the "latinos" that bring that look to our country. Eventually we will all look the same anyway, so again, my point, is who cares? Seriously?

I don't think that this decision on their part have nothing to do with being more or less white. Remember that men rather have them blond. But you do have a point that we should respect. You are making an assumption about the disappearance of whites based on the women you see in public? White does not mean just blond- it is very varied.

I die my hair blonde. Why? Coz it's grey and dark hair on old ladies looks like dyed dark hair on old ladies. I'd go my natural grey but it's not a pretty grey and until I need it to blend in with my walker....I'm gonna drag out time as long as I can. I was born with red hair and I'm 100% American. White people aren't dissappearing and we come with all hair colors and textures. Different color eyes too. Isn't that amazing? Even when I was young and if I died my hair dark.....I couldn't have passed for latino or anything other than a white girl. Nope....dark ,sultry ,I could never have pulled that off....

Hi, I love my hair... but the center toward the ends are dry and frizzy... does anybody know a home-remedy that can make my hair shiny, healthy looking, glowing, and straightly down like it should be? Because frizzy hair are hairs that is like pointing up the sky, dry and thinning toward the ends. How to make it weight down, like it should? The way straight haired people have... like celebrities have?

Brush or comb your hair three times aday . This helps blood circulation in scalp as well as helps to take oil from the scalp to the rest of the hair and keeps shining and glossy.

Take vitamin or iron supplements every day.

The (moistur)ologie shampoo %26amp; conditioner hydrates deeply to replenish moisture to dry, parched hair. The (repair)ologie fortifies the hair cuticle to stop breakage and split ends, and the (frizz)ologie tames and smoothes frizz-prone, distressed hair.

If your hair is dry, you might just need to put moisture back into it. I would suggest using the (repair)ologie shampoo with the (moistur)ologie conditioner, and not the (frizz)ologie line, even though you have frizzy hair. The repair shampoo will stop your hair from breaking, thus causing less frizz, and the moisture conditioner will put a ton of moisture into your dry hair.

I use the (moistur)ologie conditioner with a Pantene shampoo, and it makes my hair really soft, shiny, and healthy looking. It works really well!

Im sorry, but the most important thing you should do is go to the hairdresser and cut off your split ends! Also, try to avoid hair straighteners or curlers or anything. Leave your hair natural. If you don't like it natural then try using leave in conditioners. Wash your hair 2 to 3 times a week, no more, no less! After you wash your hair, dry it a bit then tie it in a bun while it's still wet! This makes your hair look neat and with a bit of a wave to it, very nice! Brush your hair as often as possible and massage your head when shampooing. Eat lots of protein. Don't tie your hair back too tight if you do normally, this will cause the hair to fall out and the hairline to go back.

And most importantly, put a pretty, sparkly clip in your hair to make you look more beautiful! Celebrities use lots of accessories too!

Wash your hair and scrunch it a few times until it looks somewhat like that then wrap it and let it air dry. When its completely dried apply hair spray to keep it that way.

Put opn some volumizing spray, and then take small sections of your hair and wrap it on the outside of your curling iron without using the clamp. Using your fingers seperate the waves and flip your hair a few times.

ok the way i get my hair like that is by taking a shower and then putting curlers losely in my hair and then i go and blow dry my hair and then slowly take out the curlers, and your hair should have curls in it then i take a big wet hair brush( make sure to shake off any extra water) and run it down through my hair. and then my hair looks like that. i am not sure if this will work on you but its worth a try. Shampoo hair less frequently; occasionally rinse and condition instead.

Use a comb to detangle your hair in the shower while your conditioner is in.

If you leave it until you get out of the shower your hair will be fuller with less curl separation, unless you comb styling products through.

Apply your styling products after your hair has been towel blotted.

Do not "scrub" the hair with the towel, it promotes frizz.

Use creamy conditioning smoothing products mixed with a texturizer

(i.e. liquid gel that doesn't dry stiff) for example, mix *Kiehl's Silk Groom

(creamy) with *Aveda Elixir (texturizer)

i am a natural kind of dark blond, more of a really light brown, for about 4 months, i dye my hair dark brown, then i dye my hair black, and right now im with the black hair, but i dont really like it, i dont know what should i do, becuase i was looking at some pictures, and i saw this brown kind of red color that i liked, or i dont know if i should go with the blond again or what, but i loved the dark brown that i had before to.. but i think that with the black hair is going to be difficult to get to it.. mm my eyes are green, so.. i would like them to stand out..

I'd really need to see a picture of you to get a good idea of your skin tone and what hair color would look best. But whatever you do, going from black hair I would recommend getting it professionally done. Basically whatever you do you're gunna have to bleach it somewhat in order to dye it again.

Darker hair usually does make light eyes pop.

Depends on your hair type. If you have curly hair it won't happen and if your bald then join a hair club. lol Otherwise once your hair is the right length, have it cut in that style and then blow dry to the side in the front using a light gel.

I like short hair on a guy...I'm 22; but different girls have different styles so try out the long hairstyle...you can always cut it if you don't like it! That's what's great about hair (if you grow it out make sure it is over 10 inches so if you decide to chop it off you can donate it to locks of love and they can make wigs for little kids) Oh and if you do decide to donate it but it looks bad long you can always tell ladies that you are donating it to kids with cancer and they will think that it is the sweetest thing ever!!!

i dont know about you but if i go to sleep with my hair wet/damp its exactly like that, if your hair is different try using some product for surf type hair or a sea salt spray and use it when your hair is damp scrunch and if that doesnt work try doing that and going to sleep with it and then comg your fingers through your hair and it detangles it, maybe even some sea salt spray and tying your hair in a bun. i hope this kinda helps.

I want to keep it long... I have long loose curls, sometimes even just waves and a heart shped face. Right now I have some layers but not a lot. How should I get it cut? A picture of a celebrity or some sort of example would be great.

I suggest keeping the length. Longer hair is better for curls. If its too short it tends to look poofy. Heart shaped faces look best with layers framing the face and chin. I think the red color would be really flattering as well. Change is always good!

ok gel the thing i used to do when i spiked my hair was get it how i wante dthen blow dryit it makes it crispier. thats what i'm about to start doing to my son he's got curly strait hair. but i like johnny depps hair and orlando blooms. umm hmmm hard to pick hair styles in celebs that i like b/c they change so often. i'd talk to a stylist and see what they suggest as for how it looks best b/c i don't know what you look like. but try tresemme hair gel it works pretty good. heck even hairspray ontop of gel works too. good luck.

but wash your hair the night before you want that style and when its almost completely dry but slightly damp, plait it.. i do about 15 plaits in my hair which is quite thick. Go to sleep with the plaits in and in the morning before you take them out spray lightly with hairspray, take them out, and you'll have beautiful waves!
