we are not... cause i couldn't possibly care less. (no offense) i think that the general population is obsessed because it gives them an opportunity to live through someone else. the draw to peeking into someone else's live would be they are not happy with their own lives. all i can say to the obseesed is get off the couch and see the world that lurks outside your front door!!!

we are obsessed because they lead such glamorous lives while the rest of us just work, pay bills and raise our children because we can't afford nannies and limo's.

Every one of us has this little bit of curiosity egging us on to read about the who's who and what they've been doing. Personally, I think it has to do with what our dreams and day dreams are. We hear about this one going to Aspen Colorado to their three storey house to ski, shop, and blah blah blah, we watch celebrities waste away (nicloe richie) and wonder why, when they have so much. In some small way I believe that our dreams, hopes and asperations are akin in some way shape or form to what we read or see on the media. Whether we love this one and hate that one, we would all like the freedom of financial securitiy and maybe even our 15 minutes of fame. Some of these celeb's are living out what we will only ever dream about and that's why we read and watch them love, them or hate them, criticise them or put them up on pedestalls, we're all alittle fickle, alittle envious, even in our critisisms of saying "Oh no, not me, I love myh life the way it is".

we are because we want someone to look up to or criticize

that,s how people are, we want to know about the others because we are bored with our lives

im not curious i dont really give a darn.what i do care about is all the money they make for one little movie or a commercial.did you know that tiger woods makes 20 million a year from NIKEthat to me is very irratating and here we all are working are buts off to buy a pair so that goes to show you how much they are charging us to buy them. lol
